Some of the many projects that these kids have supported include: The Race for the Cure, The Mud Run, The Walk for Community, Out of the Darkness Walk (to prevent teenage suicide), and The Rwanda Sonrise School book drive for building their library.
Interact at Rice Depot
RICE DEPOT
Thanks to Pat, Roger & Steve for working with one of our Interact Clubs on a Saturday in May, 2004 - one of numerous work days over the years for the Rice Depot. Over 3 1/2 pallets of food were labeled and prepared for delivery to the needy for the next Monday! Per Ms. Laura Rhea, President of Arkansas Rice Depot, "we can always use more volunteer help to assist our staff in moving this food."
Camp Aldersgate:
Our Interact Club at Episcopal Collegiate School chose to spend a Saturday morning working with Camp Aldersgate on a project to help improve flower beds and their landscaping.
The Mission: "Move this mound of dirt across the yard and spread it out". (Now why can't we get them do do this at home?) This group has also worked on projects for Dorcus House, Heifer Project, Boo at The Zoo, Bell Ringing for Salvation Army, and numerous other projects as well.
