We are especially looking for young professionals that want to get involved in a hands-on way and give back to their community. We encourage involvement at all levels. Rotary is an organization for all ages, both men & women.

Why Should I Join Rotary?
Here are about 20 good reasons in print . . . to either view or download.
The main reason though is that life is short, and we need to enjoy it one day at a time with friends and help make our community a better place to live in and better than we found it.
Membership Requirements:
A member must have some discretion on the use of their time, to be able to work on some of our service projects that we have during the year.
We have an attendance expectation to attend at least 50% of the meetings. This is not at all difficult, since we encourage "make-ups" at other clubs within two weeks before or after a missed meeting. (See other local club meeting times or the Internet "eclub" under our Resources page.)
Our Annual Dues at LR Metro are as follows: Dues & Room charge @ $260/yr plus the Annual Banquet @ $ 20, for a total of $ 280.00, which can be paid semi-annually. (Included is a monthly Rotarian magazine with articles about the worldwide activities and also about health, travel, and business information.)
NOTE:For Retired Seniors we have a reduced membership for a total of $160/yr. For young professionals trying to get started in their career, we also have a Jr. Membership that can be offered at the same dues of $160/yr. This Jr. Membership will be reviewed after one year.
You must be open to having Fun and learning a lot about your community... because you will!
